Our Music Ministry is now under the direction of our new director,
Catherine Schane-Lydon. Cathy is a welcome addition to our church family.
Many various music groups have been
organized. These are described below. If you would like
to serve your church community by participating in one or more of our choirs,
please call Pauline at the parish office at 458-4946, ext. 11, or stop up
to see Cathy in the choir loft after Mass. She'll
be happy to answer any questions. You may also leave messages for her at the
parish office.
Adult Choir
 There
are no scheduled evening rehearsals. The adult choir rehearsal is on Mondays at
noon in the parish center. For those who cannot make this time you may come up
to the choir loft 45 minutes prior to mass to rehearse.
A knowledge of reading music is helpful but not
essential. If singing is part of your prayer life, you'll find a spiritual home
with us here. Our
Music Director will guide you the rest of the way.
Youth Choir
Our music director rehearses and sings with the
children during their Religious Education classes. They will be sometimes
joining the adult choir at Sunday masses. A variety of lively songs are taught.
Bell Choir
 Rehearsals
for this group are on Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the choir loft.
The Bell Choir is playing a beautiful two octave set of Malmark
English Hand Bells which were donated in memory of James Campbell.
Each ringer is responsible for 1 - 2 notes in the music
("your" bells). So, if you'd like to try it, please come. We'd love to
have you.
This group plays for special occasions such as All Souls,
Confirmation, and Easter, as well as for community events..
We need you!!
