Catherine Schane-Lydon arrived on the scene the beginning
of 2009 as our new Director of Music Ministries. She is new to us but has
a long history in the profession. Her last position was with the
First Congregational Church of Lee, MA where she was their music director
for over 19 years. She is a second generation church musician. following
in the footsteps of her mother (whose last position was at St. Joseph's
parish in Pittsfield, MA. She is an active musician and teacher, and is a
founding member of the classical ensemble The Jocia. Her
interests vary from the classical to Celtic to Rock to Jazz - from
Popular to Folk.She and her husband and two dogs
live in Canaan, N.Y..
