Saints Patrick and Raphael Parish Pastoral Council endeavors to involve parish
membership in increasing an awareness of Christ's presence in the Williamstown
community, and determine the temporal and pastoral needs of its parish members
and establish activities to meet those needs.
Activities of the Pastoral Council are carried out through its established
Commissions. If you would like to help your Parish family with your time and
talent, by serving on the Pastoral Council or joining one of its Commissions
contact the following person(s), or simply call the parish office at 458-4946.
Parish Pastoral Council meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month
at 7:00pm in the parish center. Consult bulletin for changes.

Commissions
Respect Life: Provides information on social concerns for consideration and
action pertaining to Pro-Life issues: encourage prayerful and active
participation in programs that respect, protect, and nourish human life.
Spiritual Life: Addresses the individual spiritual needs of the parishioners
through missions, retreats, spiritual literature (during Advent and lent);
Coordinate Special mass throughout the year, coordinate receptions during the
year and promote ecumenical activities.

Communications: Keep parishioners informed of Parish and Diocesan happenings
through various forms of media; newsletter, weekly bulletin, bulk mailings,
talks from the pulpit, web page.
Parish Community Life: Promote family and spiritually oriented programs for
enrichment of all parish members.

Religious Education: Assist in carrying out CCD programs, working with the
parish and regional school boards.

Saints Patrick and Raphael Parish Finance Council
Prepare and present budgets and financial reports; assume
responsibility for maintenance of parish buildings; organize fund raising
endeavors - local and diocesan; keep parish informed of these.
