Religious Education Program for the Elementary Classes

Classes for all students in the Elementary program begin on Monday afternoon, 
October 20. The year will begin with a Mass on October 20.
Classes will be held from the close of the elementary school day until 4:30pm 
in the parish center on Southworth Street.

Parents are asked to review the route their child should take when walking to 
the parish center from the elementary school on Monday afternoons. The children 
will be released from the back of the new school building to Southworth St. 
via a sidewalk where there will be a crossing guard to cross them over to the 
west side of Southworth St. They should then proceed up the west side to the
parish center.

Please remember to send a note to your child's teacher giving permission for 
him/her to walk to the parish center on the designated days.

Continuing with the safety concerns.. Classes end at 4:30pm. Grades 1,2 and 3 
will remain in their classroom for parent pickup. Grades 4,5 and 6 will be dismissed 
from their classrooms - children walking home will be dismissed form the front of 
the building while those to be picked up by car will wait at the back door of the 
parish center in the enclose area.

Please remember that parents are always welcome and encouraged to help 
with special events and projects, share a talent - even teach!!! Should you be

Please note: Religious education classes take place on Monday afternoon at the

PLEASE keep in mind that we operate in conjunction with the school calendar. 
Should a scheduled school day be canceled due to inclement weather or any other 
reason, we also will not conduct classes
